About 16 miles from Summerville — roughly a 20 minute drive

Hanahan is one of my closest-in towns — soft washing newer homes, cleaning driveways, and keeping HOA yards crisp near the reservoir.

Quick to reach, easy to keep looking sharp

Hanahan is one of the closest towns I work, which I appreciate. It’s only about 16 or 17 miles up I-26 from my home base in Summerville, so it’s a short run and an easy place for me to fit into the schedule. It’s a suburban bedroom community in Berkeley County, the kind of place people move to for a newer home, a tidy street and a little breathing room, and that shapes the work folks ask me for.

A lot of Hanahan is newer construction, plenty of it around Tanner Plantation, the big master-planned community with sections like Mossy Creek, Sweetgrass and Eagle Bluff. These are newer vinyl and Hardie-sided homes in HOA neighborhoods where curb appeal isn’t just a nicety, it’s something the street and the association expect you to keep up. The Lowcountry humidity doesn’t care how new your house is, though, and it puts a film of mildew and green growth on siding within a year or two. That’s why the call I get most in Hanahan is for house soft washing, a gentle low-pressure wash that strips that buildup off vinyl and Hardie and gets a newer home looking like new again, which is exactly what an HOA standard calls for.

Right alongside that is driveway and sidewalk cleaning. Newer subdivisions have a lot of bright concrete, and bright concrete shows algae and tire grime in a hurry. Getting driveways, walks and entries back to clean does as much for a home’s look on these streets as anything, and it’s an easy thing to keep up once it’s done.

The everyday upkeep matters here too, since these are neighborhoods that like a sharp yard. Lawn mowing on a steady schedule, paired with proper hedge and shrub trimming, keeps a place looking the way the street expects, and plenty of folks would rather hand that off than spend their weekend on it. And with Goose Creek Reservoir right there, the roughly 100-acre park and all that water nearby, a lot of homes lean into outdoor living, so deck and patio cleaning comes up regularly too, getting the green off boards and pavers before the slick sets in.

The nice thing about Hanahan being so close is that I can be responsive. You’re dealing with one person who does the work himself and answers his own phone, and when you’re this near my home base, that usually means I can get to you sooner.

If you’re in Hanahan and your siding’s gone dull, your driveway’s gone green, or your yard needs a regular hand, call or text me at 843-530-0702, or send the details through my contact page.
